Ongoing tasks are simple day to day tasks, without a defined start or end date, nor an estimated effort. You can use it to count how much time you’ve invested on frequent tasks that don’t have a delivery date.
Runrun.it doesn’t use the ongoing tasks to calculate tasks’ delivery dates. On the other hand, the worked time on ongoing tasks is registered in the system and appears in reports.
However, don’t mix up ongoing tasks to repeated tasks. The latter is important to show you how much time your team is investing on each type of task.
To create an ongoing task, click on the calendar button – while you are creating the task – and select this option.
